Freqo keeps counting the visit, anonymously: no cookie, nothing stored on the device and no IP address stored. You still see page views, sources, countries, devices and goals. Only the features that need to recognise a returning visitor are left out.
Not for the anonymous count: it uses no cookie and stores nothing on the visitor's device. If you want returning visitors and journeys across visits, Freqo needs consent, and its built-in banner asks for it in your visitor's language. You can also keep your own consent tool.
Visitor statistics are stored on our own servers in a data centre in France, in the European Union. They are never sold or shared.
Statistics are kept for 25 months, then deleted automatically. When a visitor accepts, the identifier kept on their device lasts 13 months at most, and their choice is asked again after 6 months.
Yes. Choose “My own consent tool” and call freqo.consent(true) or freqo.consent(false) from your tool when the visitor decides. Freqo then follows that choice.
